The Knights of Columbus is a family/fraternal benefit
society founded in
1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney.
It is the world's largest lay Catholic organization with
more than
1.7 million members in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older,
who are committed to making their community a better
place, while supporting their Church. Being a part of
the Knights organization fills your heart and mind with
the joy of giving to others, but it is more than
camaraderie; it is being involved with your community;
it is supporting your local Catholic Church while
enhancing your own faith, it is about protecting and
enriching your family life. The Knights are dedicated to
the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and
patriotism.
